Bug fixed: ========== * The transfer to High Efficiency mode (on bypass) is now visible in the events list. * 9130 UPS does shutoff at the end of the Shutdown duration. * Fixing some problems with SCVMM and Maintenance Mode. * Tabulations added in XenCenter are now different if it's a IPP or IPM. * Fix VMware Mass Configuration Cache Problem. * Removing IPM tab in vCenter, when removing the plugin. * Error messages generated while VM shutdown and Turn on. * MassConfig of the IPM shutdown settings is now available. * Fixed level status for 9390 On Bypass mode in IPM * Fixing different battery status depending on Power Source * Fixing synoptic problem (on bypass). * Fixing problem with IPM, when vCenter is installed on an non-default port. * Fixing inconsistency value for load segment and shutdown duration, from a Network Management Card. * The status bar does upgrade counters when adding or suppressing nodes. * German language display is now consistent. Known issues: ============ * When creating a first infrastructure connector checking the box "vCenter Plugin" may lead to unstabilities. If you want to activate the vCenter plugin feature first create the connector without checking the vCenter Plugin box. Then, edit your connector and check the box : all should work fine. If you have checked the box at creation time and experience some unstabilities restart IPM (twice if needed) in order to get back to a normal state. * With the JRE 7u45, the NetApp infrastructure connector, can lost the communication with the Netapp Storage after 2 days. This issue does not appear with the JRE 7u40 and the last one 7u51. =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.30 for Windows (April 2013) =============================================================================== New features: ============ * "Generic driver" is a new and advanced feature which allows supervising any SNMP or NUT enabled device. * Export nodes data into a CSV file. * Synchronization of NetworkMS card security settings (except passwords). * Compatibility with new Eaton UPSs: 9PX6KSP, 9PX8KSP, 9PX10KSP. * SNMPv3 support for IPM data acquisition. * Storage supervision (NETAPP, HP, SYNOLOGY, NETGEAR, QNAP, BUFFALO) * For NETAPP storage it is also possible to trigger graceful shutdown from IPM. * IPM administrator has the possibility to definitely delete the old events from IPM database in order to reduce size and improve performance. The graph panel is empty (no measures and no curves). The statistics panel is not refreshed (no statistics displayed). =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.26 for Windows (May 2012) =============================================================================== New features for Intelligent Power Manager 1.26: ================================================ * Virtualization module improvements: Adds the possibility to shutdown the VMware virtual machines from IPM (even in VMware HA mode) * Package digital signature * Redundancy Behavior improvment: The Virtual Power Source (VPS) will NOT go to Battery mode when the First UPS does to battery Mode. Bug fixed: ============ * VMware vCenter connection issue (Occured when the username was entered like Domain/Username in IPM and in vCenter active session the username was resolved as "username") * VMware ESX/ESXi shutdown issue (The shutdown initiated by IPM didn't force the shutdown, the shutdown didn't work when the VMware ESX/ESXi was not in maintenance mode) * (RS232) Random UPS ShutOff issue => Sometimes UPS was not shutting off when shutdown condition was reached. * Communication lost with Virtual Power Source when the Network-MS (or ModBus-MS) was selected as power source (This bug appeared in IPM 1.25 version) * NMC Mass Upgrade issue when the card is in SSL mode is fixed on this release. * IPP Mass upgrade issue: the button update was always grey, so update launch was impossible Known issues: ============ * For IPM Virtual Appliance only, the statistics and the graph are not available for the nodes. The graph panel is empty (no measures and no curves). The statistics panel is not refreshed (no statistics displayed). =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.25 for Windows (Jan 2012) =============================================================================== New features for Intelligent Power Manager 1.25: ================================================ * IPM 1.25 can now "Mass Configure" and "Mass Upgrade" the Network card of the new Eaton Advanced ePDU: => Europe = Switched (SW), Advanced Monitored (AM) and Managed (MA) => US= Advanced Monitored (AM) and Managed (MA)) * VMware integration improvements: Suppress the VMware Perl SDK prerequisite vCenter Plug-in: Create more Alarms and Power Events in vCenter Can now Add/Protect a Standalone ESX/ESXi in IPM without vCenter * XenServer integration (new) Remote Shutdown from IPM Remote Maintenance from IPM Can Add/Protect a XenServer in IPM * XenCenter integration (new) Create a XenCenter Plug-in from IPM * IPM is shown as a “Notified Application” in the NMC/Network-MS card when a VMHost’s node has a UPS configured in IPM. Known issues: ============ * On Windows (XP x64 version only) the ePDU Network Card upgrade fails. You have to do the upgrade from another Operating System. To recover the card, you can also continue the upgrade from another Windows Operating System than XP x64. This issue occurs with ePDU bootloader 00.01.0007 (information available from console menu). This issue will be corrected on next ePDU bootloader version. * When the redundancy is activated on IPM to protect the computer, a communication failure occurs after a few minutes when the power Source are NMC 66102 or 66103 cards. The protection is ineffective in this case. The only solution to get redundancy in this case is to downgrade to IPM v1.20 (use the following link to retrieve the hidden package: http://pqsoftware.eaton.com/install/win32/ipm/ipm_win_1_20_070.exe) The fix will be available in the next release of IPM. =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.20 for Windows (October 2011) =============================================================================== New features for Intelligent Power Manager 1.20: ================================================ * Implements a new UPS redundancy management feature (refer to user manual) * IPM 1.20 can supervise and discover the new Eaton Advanced ePDU: => Europe = Switched (SW), Advanced Monitored (AM) and Managed (MA) => US= Advanced Monitored (AM) and Managed (MA)) * IPM 1.20 has been tuned for new 5PX UPSs supervision. * Improved system tray icon with contextual menu available through right click * Database log size has been optimised. * Statistics provide now device consumption in kWh instead of kVAh. * SNMP acquisition drivers have been optimised. * HP UPSs can be supervised (management feature is not supported) * Dell UPSs can be supervised (management feature is not supported) * IBM UPSs can be supervised (management feature is not supported) When "Shutdown" feature is activated: ===================================== * a UPS configuration panel appears in shutdown menu (Read only with network Power Source and Read Write with serial line Power Source) * Shutdown controller feature is now compatible with Network card Corrected bug: ============== IPM 1.20 can mass upgrade Network-MS HE revision =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.14 for Windows (September 2011) =============================================================================== New feature: Intelligent Power Manager is compatible with VMware vCenter 5.0.
