Bugs fixes: =========== * IPM: no ESXi shutdown if some VM's shutdown hang * Node access parameters setting is not possible for UCS blade * STS-32 : Status Event alarms missing. * VPS login/password are not correctly synchronized on source UPS. * When we activate the plugin directly by creating the Vcenter connector , it is not taken into account. * Storage Supervision is not possible: The communication with devices fails * Menu Events Calendar: Events from previous year are no more visible on year change * IPM Virtual Appliance - Auto Discovery does not work * IPM Virtual Appliance - Unable to use the command "change driver node" * Humidity is incorrectly displayed in mouse over tooltip. * After uploading firmware on PDU, shutdown alarms for each outlets are triggered * Linux Watchdog issue. The Application was not restarted automatically after a crash of the service. Known issues: ============= * If you monitor EX RT 3:1 UPSs including 66074 (old network card) and Network-MS (alias 66102) and you ask for the creation of a subview according to "Description", you will have 2 subviews with the same description "EX RT 3:1" instead of only one as it should be. You can move the nodes in one of this sub-view and delete the empty one manually. * When using Configuration Policies with VPS power sources on load segments, use only shutdown timer setting from the configuration policy. If, instead, you use the shutdown timer configuration on each UPS, the setup won't work as expected. * Only one Cisco UCS connector can be created at a time. * Synology and HP Storages are no longer discovered by IPM but can still be used by: ** Running the corresponding address scan with the option "Force node creation", ** Using the link "Change node driver" to set the "NAS Synology / SNMP" driver. * Node List filter "Create a sub view from": IPM does not take into account the already existing "Configuration Policies" view. All the Configuration policies available are added again systematically. * Web Plugin VMware 5.1: The Eaton Widget is unavailable on vSphere Web Client for VMware 5.1. Please upgrade your installation to 5.5 if you want the Eaton Widget. =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.44 for Windows (September 2014) =============================================================================== New features: ============= * Support for HP Managed and Monitored PDU (discovery, supervision, mass-configuration and mass-upgrade) * Stronger default SSL settings * Performance optimization on infrastructure connectors Bug fixed: ========== None Known issues: ============ See 1.43 known issues. =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.43 for Windows (August 2014) =============================================================================== New features: ============= * Support for STS-32 using generic drivers * VMWare Site Recovery Manager : Add the capability to start a site recovery plan when an power source event is launched => IPM 1.43 SRM feature has been validated with VMware 5.1, and should be compatible with VMware 5.5 * Ability to not restart a VM after its shutdown * Gold licence required for virtualization features on Essential UPS models (9E, 93E, etc) Bug fixed: ========== * The password's characters could include non-ASCII characters now * Using new connectors fix crash of IPM with many ESXi managed at the same time * Redundancy, shutdown unexpected: for an unknown reason, the VPS status have not come back to the correct value * No more instability after stop and restart of IPM on Windows Server 2012 or Windows 2008 R2 * No more alarm loss when ESXi enter in maintenance mode * Fix availability of ESXi servers when added them just after removing them * Fix vCenter Intelligent plugin version number registered into vCenter Known issues: ============ Synology storage devices are no longer automatically discovered by IPM. Known issues: ============ * On Windows (XP x64 version only) the ePDU Network Card upgrade fails. You have to do the upgrade from another Operating System. To recover the card, you can also continue the upgrade from another Windows Operating System than XP x64. This issue occurs with ePDU bootloader 00.01.0007 (information available from console menu). This issue will be corrected on next ePDU bootloader version. * When the redundancy is activated on IPM to protect the computer, a communication failure occurs after a few minutes when the power Source are NMC 66102 or 66103 cards. The protection is ineffective in this case. The only solution to get redundancy in this case is to downgrade to IPM v1.20 (use the following link to retrieve the hidden package: http://pqsoftware.eaton.com/install/win32/ipm/ipm_win_1_20_070.exe) The fix will be available in the next release of IPM. =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.20 for Windows (October 2011) =============================================================================== New features for Intelligent Power Manager 1.20: ================================================ * Implements a new UPS redundancy management feature (refer to user manual) * IPM 1.20 can supervise and discover the new Eaton Advanced ePDU: => Europe = Switched (SW), Advanced Monitored (AM) and Managed (MA) => US= Advanced Monitored (AM) and Managed (MA)) * IPM 1.20 has been tuned for new 5PX UPSs supervision. * Improved system tray icon with contextual menu available through right click * Database log size has been optimised. * Statistics provide now device consumption in kWh instead of kVAh. * SNMP acquisition drivers have been optimised. * HP UPSs can be supervised (management feature is not supported) * Dell UPSs can be supervised (management feature is not supported) * IBM UPSs can be supervised (management feature is not supported) When "Shutdown" feature is activated: ===================================== * a UPS configuration panel appears in shutdown menu (Read only with network Power Source and Read Write with serial line Power Source) * Shutdown controller feature is now compatible with Network card Corrected bug: ============== IPM 1.20 can mass upgrade Network-MS HE revision =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.14 for Windows (September 2011) =============================================================================== New feature: Intelligent Power Manager is compatible with VMware vCenter 5.0.
